Big hello to everyone at Brooklands, particularly anyone from Mr Mckees P7 class of 2004!! It's been 5 years since i left Brooklands now and ive just left Comber High School now, and im hopefully going to Bangor Tech to study Beauty Therapy. I loved my time at Brooklands, such good memories there, P6/7 were particularly good years, Mr McKees class was great! Loved Miss Freeburn, my teacher way back in P2 and Miss Graham (or Miss Kerr as she was known when she was my P3 teacher) Such a good school, i'll never forget my time there!

Oh My Gosh it's nearly a year since i left brooklands and i miss it sooooo much but i luv regent. Im comin to sports day dis year cuz im off skul for an exceptional closure. Here is one for you, I am now 29 years old and I went to Brookys a long time ago, I dont think there are many teachers left that I knew, The head master was a fella called Mr Mcguniess, and I was his worst nightmare lol. Was in his office many times. There was one day me and my friends thought it would be a good idea to cover his car in bog roll and eggs and flour. Needless to say this went down well with the pupils but not so well with him.I never did get caught but my friends did, Mark J and David Mc, you know who you are. I still think it was funny. So big shout to anyone that remembers the old days. and to Mr Mcguiness I am sorry llf lmao, better late than never.

i love this school(the best i ever went to)and i love the i.c.t room loads,my fave thing in p.e is the parashute and mr coetzee is my most fave teacher ever and i love all the teachers and classroom asistants,oh and miss england cooks the best chicken curry ever(even better than the cinese)=0 lol lets get our goal of 50,000 tesco vouchers gl every one and its only about 2 years until i leave this school and its gona be sad and the school im going to is rowallen intergrated collage where my cuz robert goes to.and on the last day of school im gonna get all the teachers a present/somthin nice!oh and mr coetzee if you or any of the teachers are reading this you da best! =)=)=) lol

Well the P7's have left. It was a great service. Mr. McCartney's words, "don't forget where you came from". These words are so true and we are very proud of the fact that our kids went to Brooklands PS. It's a fab school and all the staff are amazing. It's hard to believe that our P7 children are approaching their last days at Brooklands and are ready to move onto pastures new. Well done to the Brookies football team in the NI final recently. As a spectator (and former Brookie) I have to say that I thought you deserved to win. hi every1 at brookies enjoying nendrum i have joined their football team and we have won some matches and we are playing a tournament this week.

Joseph-The Musical- What can I say? Brilliant, Fantastic, Superb, Outstanding, I could go on, so all I will say is well done to EVERYONE who starred, helped out, or simply gave encouragement to the entire team! The show was the best way to end this school year, especially for the P7s leaving Brooklands soon :( Keep up the good work, and good luck to all the P6s practising for the transfer test.

CONGRATULATIONS to all the cast of this year's production of Joseph. I was there last night and it was absolutely amazing - the singers, dancers, choir, musicians, lighting and stage props. Out of all the characters Joseph was my favourite singing Close Every Door to Me - in the scene with the choir and the candles. Again very well done to everyone involved!

Congratulations to all involved in Joseph, just back from seeing it and thought it was as good if not better than anything I have seen at the Opera House. Beautiful singing and such fun to watch. Recently we have been doing experiments on dissolving and a living things investigating.

Thank-you to everyone who braved the wind and rain to watch the current crop of football heroes on Friday night at Drome Park.
It was fantastic to see so many former players, Mums and Dads, Aunts and Uncles Grannies and Grandas, members of staff and also so many other people supporting the school - even if they may not have had a 'direct relation' involved in our splendid victory.
The Brooklands Spirit was evident for everyone to see and it was the entire team (and by that I mean all those mentioned above) that made it possible for our wee players to lift the cup for the SIXTH year in a row!
One for all and all for one at Brookies!

hi to all out there mrs bell is gr8. WOW i'm really pleased with the footy team on friday(26th) i was really shocked. but it's not as if they're gonna lose.

Hello, from a past student (1967 - 1974), when I attended this school it was called Carrowreagh Primary School, our Headmaster was Mr. Lemon, vice Principal Mr. Simpson who was also my P7 teacher. This was a great school and have a lot of great memories, like sports day the school was divided into 4 teams, Bannister, Chechester, Hilary and Johnston, I was in Johnston the teams that won the most events got the shield. We also used to have writer of the week, every week we would submit a paragraph that we had written in ink and the best won an new ink pen and had their name written on the shield which was displayed in the school. My house actually backed onto the school, I lived right next door to the entrance from Brooklands Road at #35. I must have liked all the teachers I had as I can still remember their names Mrs Hutchinson P1 & P3, Mrs Ferguson P2, Mrs Graham P4, Mrs Hunter P5, Mr Drennan P6 and Mr Simpson P7. I then left and went to Dundonald Girls High School. In 1978 our family emigrated to Canada. I look back at my days at Carrowreagh (Brooklands)with great fondness.

I would just like to say,I was surprised to see Mr McCartney there to see the kids off on Saturday. Myself as a parent really appreciate this as it shows you have full interest in what the kids are doing. THANKYOU. You're one in a million PRINCIPAL.

Went to the Summer Concert last night (Thursday 22nd). I have to say much to my shame i think it was the first one i have been to. A very big thank you to all who attended the sponsored walk on thursday, it was great to see so many of you there, the weather was fab, the turnout was fantastic! Friday night at Drome Park will live in my memory for a very long time and it will do so for two main reasons. Firstly, because of the 'Heroes of Drome'. Seventeen football players who performed with passion, skill and courage, as they have done all year, to help bring the Newtownards Primary Cup back to Brookies (its home) for the FIFTH consecutive year. Secondly, and by no means any less important, because of our truly tremendous supporters. You were magnificent. I will never cease to be amazed at the contribution made by the pupils, parents, friends and staff of Brookies. We all pulled together as one. The players would not have done it without you - you were the twelfth man..... But I suppose that is Brookies all-over. The fact we all look after each other, especially when the 'chips' are down!

We were winners on Friday night before the final kick of the ball had even been taken. We were winners not because of a score line but because the children of Brooklands had been prepared to 'give of their all' in the pursuit of doing their families and Brookies proud.

Thank you all once again................. One for all and all for BROOKIES!!!!!!!

Thank you to everyone who helped us in our protest. We do appreciate all your help in every way. We are so pleased that our persistence paid off and we have been given a permenant patrol person for Brooklands Primary School. This is no less than our children deserve. Thank you once again....especially those who stood on the last few Wednesday mornings...there wern't many of us but we saw it through. Thanks also to all the local councillors who gave us great support and advice. We really appreciated their help. Let us all see that as we work together for our children we can win.

Strava! (I think that means hello in Bulgarian). That was the best holiday I have ever had! It was truely fantastic (even though I was exhausted by the end). I thought I'd better say a massive 'Thank-you' to all the other teachers for minding me and to the pupils for not laughing too much when I fell!!! Although I still remember the chant 'Mr Massey fell, Mr Massey fell', who was it that started that?! At least Nellie didn't see me tumble into a pile of snow!!! as a former pupil of carrowreagh now brooklands i have to say it has brought back memories leaving my son lee up to the school gates on the morning of their school trip. ryt brookies! I luv brookies sooooooo much! It's far better than my school and I had the best class and best teacher Mr. Massey and his p6/7 class in 2002/2003. It's been the best part of my life. I want to say a big thanks to all my teachers and a special thanks to Mr Massey cause i was stupid before i got him but he helped me get a good result in the 11+ and now I go to the second best school in the world Inst {Brooklands is the best!}

My first year at Brooklands was great, Mrs Gray was a lovely teacher.Now I am looking forward to P2.

I think Brooklands is a very good school and everyone is very kind and the teachers are very kind too. We work very hard too and every Friday we do a test. Mr. Massey always sings and he breaks the window and they are all broken now!
I am going to Holland next year and it's going to be fun.

Mr.Massey is the best teacher in the school. I would like to thank the rest of my teachers who have taught me in the last six years. I hope everybody likes BROOKIES as much as we do and I hope you like your next teachers in the years to come.I would like the nursery children to have a good seven years at Brooklands P.S. The teacher who you would like to have in P6 is Mr.Massey because he is a very funny teacher and he helps you a lot of the time.

It's because of them that I now go to the second best school in the world after Brookies (Strathearn Grammar). i live in England now and would just like to say hello to mrs Gray who was my teacher 11 years ago. I was in the same class as frances brown. I don't think she will remember me but i have a picture of me and her in the paper all those years ago. I am now nearly 17 and at south cheshire college in Crewe.
